Has anyone made it a lifestyle shift to exercise the body as much as you exercise the mind or the heart? If so, what’s your fitness routine?
Me. I’m a weight-lifting sort of girl. I normally do 3 to 4 sets of ten reps with the machines that work my shoulders, biceps and triceps. Alternately, I move from the weights, on my weight-lifting days, to the stair master, glide machine and the bike. Almost every time I enter the gym, I walk on the treadmill. As for mile goals, I aim for 10 to 15 miles or longer. Oh yes, I do enjoy stretching periodically when I increase the tension of each machine.
I’m sipping lime water now, writing this post at 1:03 AM . Rest assured, I hydrate myself on gym days as well. It’s just a necessary part of being healthy. And you already know, I sashay into the gym in make up, however light!
No, I don’t own an iPod. With my cell and the music that is routinely piped in the gym, there is really no need for an iPod, especially so because I’d rather enjoying a challenging glide or walk or uphill walk while talking to my sisters or friends on my Samsung! We won’t discuss the joys of catching up on YouTube while on the bike.
